Norway's state-controlled oil firm aims for 40% cut in emissions by 2030

Norway's state-controlled oil company plans to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 40% in the coming decade and to near zero by 2050, potentially allowing the country to keep pumping crude even as it works to meet its international climate obligations.
