Global warming targets at risk from energy plants' CO2 emissions

Carbon emissions from existing and planned fossil fuel energy plants and projects will exceed the amount needed to curb global warming, jeopardizing a 1.5 degree Celsius temperature limit goal, scientists said in a study on Monday.
