Singapore to ban discharge of 'wash water' into port from start 2020: MPA

Singapore's Maritime Port Authority (MPA) said on Friday that it is banning with effect from Jan. 1, 2020, the discharge of water from ships used in the scrubbing of engine exhausts, known as "wash water".
