Powerful quake rattles Anchorage; roads and bridges hardest hit

A powerful earthquake shook southern Alaska on Friday morning, buckling roads, disrupting traffic and jamming telephone lines in and around Anchorage, the state's largest city, but there were no reports of injuries.
